History

Located in the rural community of Lewisburg,Ohio. Springwater pay lake and Bait Shop has been a staple for catfishing in southwest ohio since the mid 1970's offering a great fishing experience for the entire family.

With 5 surface acres of water and depths up to 17 feet, there is plenty of room to roam, relax, and catch catfish and panfish which are stocked weekly, or, sit back and wait for a monster fish that very well may have been stocked way back in 1976!

Springwater has gone through many changes over the years. From the original owners who made it a great lake, and, as their health declined, had their hospitality abused and the lake became abused as well. In there passing, the lake was closed and sold on the auction block. Springwater remained closed for a few years until the property sold again. This time it was sold to a wonderful family who was determined not only to re-open the lake, but bring it back to its original glory. They did an absolutley great job. With shelters built around the lake to provide you with shade
from the sun or shelter from the rain, to fire pits set up for you to have a campfire, to the bait and tackle shop with eveything you could need including snacks, drinks, and hot sandwiches.

Springwater Pay Lake and Bait Shop is currently owned By Mark and Lisa Kundtz. They are also determined to keep up where the Previous owners left off. Which is Having Springwater Pay Lake and Bait Shop remain one of the oldest, and most respected pay lakes in southwest Ohio. They stock weekly with channel, shovelhead, and blue catfish.

They work diligently to keep the property neat and clean as well as keep the tackle shop stocked full of the latest gear.

So, come out and wet a line at Springwater. You'll be glad you did!
